What is Kiteboarding?

There is a sport that is like surfing, wakeboarding, and flying all at once. If you’ve ever been to Pismo Beach on a windy day, you will see over two dozen kiteboarders in the water or doing tricks high above it. Most of these riders are ordinary people that are simply addicted to this amazing extreme sport called kiteboarding.

Kiteboarding uses the wind to combine the aspects of surfing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, and windsurfing into one extreme ocean sport. The kite, anywhere from 6-20 square meters, powers the rider through the water. The kite will have either 4 or 5 lines up to 27 meters long that connect to a control bar, which the rider pushes and pulls to control the kite in any direction. The bar hooks into the rider’s harness, which is most often worn around the waist. A board similar to a wakeboard or surfboard enables the rider to fly over the water. The Sinner is built for serious girls who require the same quality and features in a wetsuit that the guys have. The girls who ride in our wetsuits can rip so we’ve built the Sinner to the same specification as the Men’s Assassin. This year’s welcome additions are Aquavents.

Where the Sinner differs is in the cut and graphics – the panel layout, seams and contours have been built to fit an athletic and graceful silhouette. The graphics were designed by girls and refined by girls.

MATERIALS

Apex-Flex

Apex Flex Top-of-the-line double-laminated material. Super stretch and lightweight with an abrasion resistant outer and a four-way stretch inner.

Hotcell insulation

Hotcell Insulation Lightweight, quick drying polypropylene insulation. The cellular structure traps an insulating layer of warm water next to the skin, keeping the core temperature up.

Bamboo Charcoal

Bamboo Charcoal is known for its inherent antimicrobial and anti-odor properties. This natural fiber is woven into our lining to provide the hygiene benefits.

FEATURES

Glued and blindstitched (GBL) seams

Glued and Blindstitched Seams An efficient, water-tight seam created through a triple gluing process in conjunction with a blind stitch that does not fully penetrate the rubber. The technique allows precise curved seams and a facilitates a snug, anatomically correct fit.

P skin sealed seams

P skin sealed seams Seam sealant made of polyurethane. Stretchier and thinner than any other seam sealant on the market.

E3 Entry

The E3 entry system is comprised of a pull-over bib and gusset that forms a water-tight neck seal and prevents water from entering through the back.

S5 Smoothskin neck seal

Limestone based neoprene from Yamamoto Corporation, Japan. The smooth closed cell neoprene has a unique coating that makes it 95% water impermeable compared to 70% of the normal petroleum based neoprene, therefore it sheds off more water and quicker. Also compared to the standard petroleum based neoprene, S5 has a 23% higher closed cell ratio that keeps you warmer by providing the maximum wind chill protection.
